CHURCH OF CHRIST PRISON MINISTRY

PERSONAL STATEMENT

 

 

I began working in what has become a prison ministry when I took a Bible to a girl at the Franklin County Workhouse in October 0f 1999.  Since that time I have been sending Bibles, Bible studies, writing letters and visiting inmates.  I continued this ministry to them as they have been moved to different prisons.

 

I have learned during this time that there is one big thing missing from so many of their lives.  Even those who think they have a good relationship with God seem to have missed the real meaning of LOVE.  GOD IS LOVE, 1 John 4:8 and 1 John 4:16.  LOVE to God,  “I will always do what is best for the one loved.” God’s Love is Unconditional.
